I really started hitting a wall with my last book, Nobody Move by Denis Johnson. It was a thriller, and as such it was fast paced and somewhat amusing, but I felt overwhelmingly “meh” about it. The end got a little blurry since I kept nearly losing it and tumbling into dream world, and at times I wanted to just give up, toss the book across the room and go to bed. I made it to the end though, and I am forging on!
I have now read roughly 738 pages and have spent around 13 hours reading. Surely I have a few more hours in me? Or at least a few more pages? At the very least I’ll stay awake long enough to go blog hopping and do a couple more mini challenges. I’m a little hungry too – a snack might be just the thing. 🙂
13 hours of reading is good. Also 738 pages Wow.. Keep going.. May be u could take a break for sometime and get at it again 🙂

Wowza you are doing amazing! It’s becoming hard to tell whether our reactions to what we are reading are about the book itself or about our fatigue, isn’t it!? I was feeling meh about my book before I got my third wind, but by the end of it, it was 4 star-worthy 🙂 Hope your next pages are enthralling enough to overcome!
