Crosby and Bowie and Ferrell and Reilly wish you…a Merry Christmas

Thanks to listening to The Current all day today while working on Christmas presents, I came across this fantastically weird duet:

If that’s not strange or awesome enough for you, follow this link to watch Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly do an almost word for word reenactment of it.

Hee! Funny stuff. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. That’s hilarious!

Do you ever hear the Current’s morning coffee break, weekday mornings at 9:30 CST? They put out a theme, and listeners pick songs to fit the theme. This week has been pretty funny–they did one about school subjects, in honor of all the schools closed due to the weather, and then one about the Metrodome roof collapsing in the snow.

    • This musical adventure came from the Coffee Break program yesterday morning. The theme was “duets” o’course. I love all the programing at The Current – it’s just an amazingly good station, and far surpasses anything I can get in my own state…!

Crazy weather happening your way these days! Our measly 3 inches isn’t even worth mentioning, although shoveling of any variety is a bitch. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Yeah, it’s been crazy, but that’s why I have teenagers. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I’ll have you know that this video caused me to fall into a black hole of David Bowie Youtube-video-watching last night. I came to hours later and was like “HOW IS IT 11PM? I HAVE NOT HAD DINNER.” He is so weird-looking and oddly compelling.

    • Haha, my work is done here!

Bowie is hilariously adorable – that toothy mouth… Sorry he made you missed dinner though. That would definitely irk me! ๐Ÿ™‚
